JMC âExemptionâ note
2022-03-25
JMC actually can show an assignment as exempt, but for some reason they have not built this feature out appropriately. There are two different modes for teachers to grade in, and Alburnett uses JMCâs âCompetency-Based Gradingâ mode, which allows us to mark scores in a way more aligned with SBG.
JMC has many features missing from this mode (including the ability to mark an assignment late or missing) but weâre using it staff-wide so that grades donât look wildly different between classes.
